AdvancedMC carriers serve as carrier units for accommodating AdvancedMC modules in AdvancedTCA systems. They enable a modular, cost-effective expansion of system functionality – for example, for network, storage, or control functions.

Features and Benefits:

  • Compatible with AdvancedTCA systems according to PICMG® AMC.0 R2.0

  • Electrical connection via connectors directly to the ATCA backplane

  • Accommodates various AdvancedMC module sizes: Compact, Mid-size, Full-size

    • Carrier board cut out in the AMC area

    • Max. configuration: 8x Single Compact or 4x Single Full-size

    • Combination of different module sizes possible

  • Conventional Carrier

    • Continuous carrier board from front to back

    • Max. configuration: 4x Single Compact or 4x Single Mid-size

  • Hybrid Carrier

    • Combination of Cutaway and Conventional design

    • Flexible module configuration – depending on the layout
